Mrs. Brennan joins the staff at Greenburgh Eleven U.F.S.D this past school year and has been an asset to our school and community. She has strengthened the culinary program with her expertise and knowledge.
Students enrolled in her curriculum have learned the basics of cooking techniques, procedures, food preparation, education in safety, sanitation, nutrition, and professional grooming. Students explore various career opportunities, employability skills, customer service, food costs, and inventory controls.
Students all engage in hands-on food service operation and emphasis on quality food preparation and teamwork.
Students have made dumplings, waffles, pizza, pies, muffins, holiday chocolate covered fruits and pretzels, chicken, pasta dishes, homemade hummus, sauces, and more!
