THE FOLLOWING DIPLOMAS OPTIONS ARE PROVIDED TO OUR LEARNERS
Regents Diploma
Diploma requirements include three units of advanced level Math and Science, four units of English and Social Studies, a sequence that includes a Foreign Language, the Arts and Career and Technical Education, and the successful completion of five Regents examinations. An Advanced Regents Diploma may be earned when a minimum of eight Regents exams are successfully completed.
General high school diploma offered to students. Minimum requirements include four units of English and Social Studies, three units of Math and Science, one unit of Foreign Language, a three unit sequence in a chosen vocational or academic area, and successful completion of six Regents Competency Tests.
The NYS CDOS Commencement Credential is a credential recognized by the NYS Board of Regents that certifies a student has the standards-based knowledge and skills necessary for entry-level employment. The requirements to earn the credential were developed consistent with research and the guiding principles established by the Board of Regents. The requirements are rigorous in that the student must receive instruction that supports the achievement of the CDOS learning standards through access to career and technical education (CTE) coursework and have opportunities to engage in school supervised work-based learning experiences, either in school and/or in the community.
