The Extended Learning Program integrates academics, enrichment, and skill development for hands-on experiences that make learning revelant and engaging. Students will develop their skills and learning through hands-on experiences. Students will participate in a STEM program designed to give them the opportunity to to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) learning in New York through the Expand STEM Initiative. Students, for example, will study organisms and their environment as well as the interdependence of organisms and their surroundings through local zoo visits.  Students will also explore space exploration when when they visit a science museum. Students write reports to demonstrate their understanding and application of concept.
