Foundation

The Foundation helps provide experiences and activities that students would not have from the district budget.  These include artistic and culturally relevant experiences.

Greenburgh Eleven Foundation, 501(c)(3)

The Greenburgh Eleven Union Free School District has established a tax-deductible foundation to raise funds to enhance and enrich the educational program for all grades K-12. The foundation's address is: Greenburgh Eleven Educational Foundation, c/o Greenburgh Eleven UFSD, P.O. Box 501, Dobbs Ferry, NY. 10522

The Foundation helps bring programs and services to the students at Greenburgh Eleven.  These activities and experiences would not be available through the regular budget of the district.  This past year there were two important programs supported by the foundation.  African Drumming and Art Session by Henry Jones were exciting and created culturally relevant experiences.  See the video to see a live session of drumming that our students created.

Drama Free Theatre and Education Program

Drama Free! is a theatre arts and education program, led by professionally trained actor and Greenburgh Eleven graduate, Shabaya Clark.  It is designed to help young people use “Drama” to break “Free!” from life’s issues and develop a positive and empowering outlet to create new possibilities, engage in creative expression, artistic genius, and foster character development within the scope of theatre arts.  This program is supported by funds from the Foundation.
