Health and Safety
We are very proud of the security and safety on our campus. We have a security staff and security measures that help keep the entire community safe.
- Our campus is a smoke and drug free campus.
- Students are prohibited from carrying any type of weapons (razor blades, box cutters, knives, guns) on campus or on the bus.
- Money/Personal possessions should not be brought on campus. Greenburgh Eleven cannot be held liable for missing or damaged items.
- Any gang related activity will not be tolerated. Everyone here is part of a respectful educational community. We do not tolerate any physical aggression, social or emotional bullying on campus and will contact parents for a meeting if necessary.
- If your child feels ill, please do not send them to school.
- The Children’s Village Medical Department provides routine emergency care. Day students may receive their medication at school with doctor and parent consent.
- If there is a family crisis or situation that your child is dealing with, please call the principal, Dr. Rolon at extension 244 to let us know so we can help.

We use Positive Behavior Supports (PBIS) which means we “catch” students being on task and complement and reward on target behavior.
Restorative Justice Approach
The Restorative Justice approach is the adopted Behavior Management practice which deals with acts of bias and discrimination that centers the experience of the harmed person and involves all stakeholders to decide what should be done to repair harm, create accountability, and reduce the likelihood of future harm.
